Do you want to make a real difference for young people in an important change process? Supporta Omsorg Ånnerud HVB is seeking dedicated treatment pedagogues for our new treatment unit. We work with young people between 16 and 20 years old who have substance abuse issues and emerging criminal behavior. Often in combination with mental health challenges and neuropsychiatric functional limitations. As part of our care chain – from acute units and treatment units to supported housing – we offer a safe and structured treatment environment where the goal is for each young person to achieve sobriety, strengthen their motivation for change, and develop the conditions for a sustainable and independent life. Now we are starting a new treatment unit and we are looking for you to be part of it from the beginning. You will have the opportunity to contribute to building up the operation, using an existing and proven concept, together with dedicated colleagues and management, and help develop a service that makes a real difference. Job Description: Your responsibilities include actively working on issues outlined in the young person's implementation plan, which includes individual conversations, weekly meetings, reflection sessions, and assessment conversations on a regular basis. Your duties also include helping the young person strengthen their protective factors and minimize risk factors, as well as being part of and leading scheduled program activities in groups several days a week. The work also involves providing the young person with support in developing good mental and physical health. Likewise, supporting the young person in maintaining sobriety during the placement and giving them the best conditions for a sober and drug-free life. Documentation is an important part of the work. Regular household tasks are part of the job. Working hours are scheduled day, evening, night, and weekend shifts. Qualifications: It is a requirement that you have at least two years of post-secondary education in social work. You have experience from similar operations, HVB homes, or schools. You should be capable of independent work and be stress-resilient. You should have good knowledge of the Swedish language in terms of speaking, writing, and comprehension. You have a B-class driver's license. Meritorious: Competence in the field of substance abuse care/treatment and cognitive behavioral therapy. Knowledge and experience of substance dependency. Competence in treatment for criminal behavior. Experience in motivational interviewing. Experience working with and managing groups. Personal Qualities: You are structured, clear, and present in your communication based on Supporta Omsorg's core values: Communication, clarity, respect, and participation. The role of treatment pedagogue at Supporta Omsorg requires good cooperation both within the organization and with our partners. You should be able to engage our young people and contribute to a work climate characterized by openness and work satisfaction. You have an unpretentious attitude and are mature as a person through the ability to balance external demands from managers, colleagues, and the young people's goals and needs.
