We are looking for you to be a trusted adult who wants to work with children in their residential home. We are currently recruiting personnel for special fixed-term employment (work as needed). Recruitment is ongoing throughout the application period. About Us Creare Care - Gästgivaregården consists of a Treatment Home with 4 places. The facility is located in Fagerås, approximately 30 minutes from Karlstad. The organization also includes a Treatment Home in Kil and outpatient care services. The target group for the residence is girls and boys ages 9-12 with behavioral difficulties. Placement in the facility is made according to SoL or LVU. The placed children have at least 1:1 staffing during all waking hours. About the Work We work using a milieu therapy approach based on behavioral science and use a low-arousal and cognitive approach. As a treatment assistant, you should be able to create a safe environment for the children through a structured and meaningful daily routine. You create a stable relationship with the children and seek them out each day with curiosity to learn more about them. Based on care and implementation plans, you will plan and carry out treatment work individually with the placed children. We use methods such as TLC - Trauma-Informed Care, CBT for children, TEJPING, MI - Motivational Interviewing, and rePULSE. You work according to an action schedule and document your work with the children in a journal system. Work tasks also include all practical matters that arise in a home such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, ensuring children's hygiene, and guiding them in daily chores. You will also participate in the facility's development and improvement work, which aims to strengthen quality and create a good workplace. As an employee, you participate in in-house training and other work-related meetings on a monthly basis. A collective agreement exists with Vårdföretagarna. About You You must have at least 2 years of post-secondary education in social work such as treatment assistant, treatment pedagogue, social pedagogue, or similar education that the employer deems equivalent or higher according to applicable legislation on educational requirements for treatment staff in HVB homes. The work suits you if you can and want to work as part of a team with your colleagues to create safety and structure for the placed children. As a person, you are communicative and attentive. As a person, you are curious and take responsibility for your own part as well as for the children's wellbeing. You strive to be a clear role model. You have the ability to set clear boundaries while remaining flexible in an eventful environment. Due to the nature of the work, good empathetic ability is needed, and you should be solution-focused. You need to be genuinely interested in learning more about the children and their challenges. You have plenty of patience in what is sometimes a slow process, as well as in pressured situations. Good conduct toward the children is something we value highly. You may be initiative-taking, inspiring, and full of ideas. Your role in the facility allows and encourages your own initiative. We are looking for you who can express yourself well in speech and writing. The position requires good documentation skills. You should have good ability to understand and analyze social processes and problems. You should have a work style characterized by commitment and drive. You should have the ability to take personal responsibility and work in a structured manner. You should be able to easily handle when conditions and planning change in your work. The work can be both mentally and physically demanding at times based on the placed children's wellbeing. · A driver's license for manual transmission is a requirement. · Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
