About the company Scandinavian Tool Systems is a Swedish-based manufacturer and supplier of tools for thread turning, thread milling, parting, and groove turning. Learn more at scandinavian-tool.se About the position and your responsibilities As Production Manager, you will have a broad and central role where strategic planning is combined with operational work. Your focus is to achieve production, development, and quality goals as well as work on continuous productivity improvements to ensure that customers receive products at the right cost, quality, and on time. Your main responsibilities may include: Production Management & Planning: Full responsibility for production, production planning, personnel management, and training of machine operators. Operative Production & Technology: Participation in the production of cutting tools in tool grinding machines and machine programming. Design & Development: Product development, drawing production, and design of production equipment. Quality & Work Environment: Develop procedures, maintenance plans, production methods, and quality assurance, as well as actively contribute to a good physical and mental work environment. Logistics & Procurement: Manage procurement of production supplies and oversee shipments for surface treatment, coating, and final delivery to inventory. Customer & Supplier Relations: Provide technical advice, handle complaints, quote custom products, and maintain ongoing contact with customers and suppliers. Administration: Work in the business system Monitor and collaborate with the accounting department on calculations and similar matters. You are also responsible for the facility/property.
