Social Worker for the Reception Team

About Us At the Reception and Adult Unit in Lilla Edet, seven social workers are employed, three and four in each respective group, with a Senior Social Worker providing daily support. We are now seeking a new colleague for our reception team. The reception team handles incoming reports and applications concerning children, young people, and adults. They are often residents' first contact with social services. The reception team is also the gateway for other authorities to access individual and family services in Lilla Edet. The work consists of short processes, a high degree of service and accessibility, and no two days are alike. You need to enjoy that the day's content cannot be predicted. Our reception is characterized by professionalism, good collaboration, high quality, and a child rights perspective. You work based on several pieces of legislation, primarily SoL, LVU, LVM, and LBSB. Your Role Your tasks include preliminary assessment of incoming reports concerning children, young people, and adults, investigating urgent housing and other urgent protective measures, and conducting statements in various types of cases. Daily responsibility is staffed with corresponding responsibility for incoming calls by phone and/or walk-in visits. When you have daily responsibility, you are also expected to complete work on urgent processes for the day.
