We are now recruiting a residential support worker to join our team at Nytida Skillnadsgatan in Lilla Edet. We offer training and a rewarding job where you can make a difference! Two temporary positions are to be filled, at 70-100%. Skillnadsgatan is a group home according to LSS for people with autism or intellectual disabilities. Here residents can choose to socialize in common areas or retreat to their own apartment. The home is located in a quiet residential area with proximity to both nature and community services. Each resident has their own apartment with kitchen, bathroom and patio, as well as access to a garden, living room and shared dining hall. To learn more, visit our website: Skillnadsgatan – Nytida About the role As a residential support worker, you work from the residents' individual needs and wishes and provide support in daily life based on a pedagogical approach. Together with other team members, you work toward making each day meaningful and enriching. You support and guide with personal care, meals, medication management, cleaning, community contacts and communication. An important part of the work is to stimulate and motivate residents to develop their abilities and to create opportunities for an active and meaningful leisure time. Your tasks also include documenting and planning based on implementation plans. Working hours are daytime, evening and weekends. You will have a group manager close to you who spends part of their time working in the operations. This could also be a future career opportunity for you. You will not be called for an interview before 16/8, as the operations manager and group manager are on vacation until then. Your experience and knowledge You have upper secondary education in health and care or equivalent education. You have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing, good computer skills and experience with documentation. It is an advantage if you have experience working with this target group. Otherwise, your CV is not the most important thing. If you have the right qualities, we will support you and give you the opportunity to grow.
