About the Role Would you like to be part of shaping the energy grid of the future? We are now seeking a project manager who wants to take on a key role in operations that are on an exciting development journey. With new municipal owners, investments in modern technology, and a clear ambition to expand and strengthen the electricity grid, we are entering an expansive phase. With us, you will have the opportunity to work broadly across the entire voltage range of 0.4–145 kV and lead projects that make a real difference – for society, our customers, and the ongoing energy transition. Your Areas of Responsibility You will be part of the project department, which is responsible for investments in both the electricity grid and the district heating network. The work includes consultation and cooperation with many stakeholders such as landowners, authorities, contractors, and of course internal and external clients. On-call availability may be part of the position. As a Project Manager, you will primarily work on tasks such as: • Project management of new construction and renovations in local and regional networks 0.4-145kV as well as maintenance projects. Ensure project progress throughout, conduct inspections and management of contractor work • Planning & monitoring: schedules, budgets, risks, and quality; review proposals for technical solutions and prepare cost estimates • Coordination of project managers, planners, contractors, landowners, and authorities. Participate in the field at, for example, construction meetings, final inspections, and project follow-ups • Procurement & contracts: tender documents, contracts, change management • Permits & authority contacts (land, environment, traffic, etc.) • Occupational health & safety: BAS-P/BAS-U (if needed), ESA, electrical safety • Reporting to clients/management and stakeholders Requirements • Education in electrical power/energy or equivalent experience • Documented project management experience • Good understanding of electricity grid infrastructure and electricity market regulations • Basic client competence to identify project stakeholders and ensure correct requirements from maintenance, finance, and future planning • Knowledge of EBR, AMA, ESA, AB/ABT • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and make decisions • Clear communication and structured follow-up • Good skills in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project or other project planning tools • Fluent Swedish and English in speech and writing required • Driver's license category B is required for the position as you will need to travel to the field in connection with planning and execution of projects It is also advantageous if you have: • Previous experience in electricity grid project design and/or the electrical industry • Experience with the NIS system dpPower • Competence in public procurement To succeed in this role, it is important that you have good teamwork skills, as you will be part of a small team where you and your colleagues work closely together. You will work with multiple projects simultaneously, so it is also important that you are an organized person with good ability to organize and plan efficiently.
