The Rheumatology Clinic is a regional clinic with units in Umeå, Lycksele, and Skellefteå. Outpatient services are extensive, and the majority of patients have rheumatic inflammatory diseases requiring active medical treatment often combined with rehabilitation. The Umeå facility also includes a Therapy Pool where two people work. The operation consists of group training in the pool and the facility is primarily used by healthcare clinics and health centers. Rehabilitation assistants at the Therapy Pool lead the Rheumatology Clinic's groups together with physiotherapists, while other clinics using the pool have their own group leaders. Social Secretary at the Investigation Unit
The Investigation Unit works with preliminary assessments, investigations, and provides support and services to children, youth, and their parents in accordance with the Social Services Act and the Act on Care of Young People (LVU). The investigation unit employs approximately 60 staff members divided into three work teams. We work according to the Children's Needs in Focus (BBIC) system, which is a unified framework for child social services. Our goal is to conduct high-quality social work with the child's needs as the primary focus. The work is based on knowledge, accessibility, continuity, participation, and a holistic perspective. Work Tasks Your work tasks mainly consist of conducting preliminary assessments and investigations into children's need for protection and support, as well as making decisions about and following up on interventions in accordance with applicable legislation. You possess administrative ability and can express yourself well in speech and writing. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. Requirements We are looking for someone with a degree in social work and experience from work in social services or similar activities. The work tasks also require that you have a B-level driver's license. You also have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. Meritorious We would like to see that you have experience in qualified investigation work and authority functions in the field of children and youth. Teg Care and Housing Facility is beautifully situated along the Umeälven River with proximity to lovely green spaces. Teg Care and Housing Facility comprises 101 apartments distributed across 10 units. A comprehensive renovation and modernization was completed in the main building in 2013. Brain and Spinal Cord Injury Rehabilitation is part of NHHC. The Neuro-Head-Neck Center (NHHC) consists of approximately 650 employees and is located at Norrlands University Hospital in Umeå. The center provides care with various aspects of investigation, treatment, and rehabilitation of diseases and injuries to the nervous system, brain, ears, nose, throat, and jaw. The center is a regional clinic where highly specialized care is provided for patients from the entire northern healthcare region, and conducts research, education, and development. Brain and Spinal Cord Injury Rehabilitation offers both inpatient and day care, where we treat patients with spinal cord and brain injuries.
