Within the clinic, we work in multiprofessional teams and work in close collaboration with the patient's family and other networks. We are now seeking a nursing assistant for our 24-hour care in Umeå. We are driven to provide accessible, efficient, and equitable care for children with moderate to severe psychiatric conditions through our specialist expertise and warm approach. Our strength lies in our cross-functional working methods and our positive attitude toward new ideas and business development. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a nursing assistant with us, you contribute with knowledge and commitment that make people feel secure. In multiprofessional teams, we plan and implement care and treatment based on the patient's needs. We work closely with relatives, schools, social services, and other clinics within healthcare. The work involves a lot of dialogue with patients and guardians - both based on manual-based, psychoeducational materials and in everyday supportive conversations. With us, it may also include performing somatic status assessments, drug screening, and blood tests. We value collegial support and work according to RESIMA - a method for creating an environment that functions as well as possible and minimizes the risk of threats and violence, for both patients and staff. You will be offered supervision and further education based on the organization's needs. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who is trained as a nursing assistant and is interested in working in child and adolescent psychiatric 24-hour care. Experience in the profession is a merit. We want you to be committed and have strong teamwork abilities, see opportunities and solutions since you have an important role in our team. You have the ability to prioritize between different tasks. The work requires good collaboration skills and high flexibility. Since nursing assistant is a protected title, you need to provide a certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare, or alternatively a work certificate that makes you covered by the National Board of Health and Welfare's transitional provisions and allows you to use the title until June 30, 2033.
