About the Job You will be involved in various data collection and analysis activities conducted under the EU's data collection regulation and/or various projects the institute carries out on behalf of the Swedish Agency for Marine and Water Management. The work tasks include collection of various types of data through sampling programs aboard commercial fishing vessels as well as research vessels of different sizes. The work involves a great deal of fieldwork, which entails flexible working hours and some work on weekends. Additionally, the work tasks include analysis activities as well as some data processing and report writing. The analysis activities include ongoing and routine biological analysis of fish according to established criteria for age, length, weight, sex, and maturity assessment.
