JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Ungärde School is seeking an engaged and inspiring teacher of mathematics and science for grades 7-9! We are looking for a teacher who is passionate about fostering curiosity and understanding of science and mathematics in our students. As a subject teacher in mathematics and science, you will: Teach students in grades 7-9 in mathematics and biology, physics, and chemistry. Plan, implement, and evaluate instruction according to Lgr22. Work together with colleagues in work teams. Contribute to school development through a professional and solution-focused approach. Create positive relationships with students and guardians and be an important part of students' academic and social development. Serve as a mentor for students in grades 7-9. During the spring term 2027, you will work in the grades 7-9 resource group and be responsible for English and Swedish language options in grade 7 and Swedish language option in grade 8. QUALIFICATIONS • Are a certified teacher of mathematics and/or science subjects for grades 7-9. • Have strong commitment to student learning and the ability to create structure, clarity, and safety. • Are a clear classroom leader who sees possibilities, collaborates, and plans instruction based on students' circumstances. • Promote the overall teaching situation and create safety for yourself and your students while contributing to a positive work climate. • Develop your instruction based on research, digital tools, and student needs. • Are flexible toward all everyday and long-term changes that are part of educational work. Salary form: Monthly salary. Salary range: The salary for this position currently falls within the range of 34,000-46,000 per month, based on 2025 salary levels.
