Dinglegymnasiet is seeking an immediate School Librarian. Dinglegymnasiet is a small independent upper secondary school that offers a Natural Resources Program with specializations in horticulture, equestrian studies, and animal care. The school also offers an IM program. The school is operated by Naturbruk Väst. Together with Nuntorpsgymnasiet, we are two schools firmly rooted in the long-standing tradition of natural resources education that has always characterized the communities where our schools are located. DUTIES As a school librarian, you are responsible for managing and developing our school library as a pedagogical resource with a focus on reading promotion, media and information literacy, and digital competence. You will also collaborate with teachers to integrate the school library's resources into instruction. Your duties include library administration such as selecting and acquiring, organizing books and digital media to meet student needs. The position also includes cataloging new books in the library system, removing outdated materials to keep the school library current, and to some extent managing circulation. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with appropriate qualifications for the position. Strong pedagogical understanding and teaching ability. Competence in teaching source criticism, information searching, and digital tools. We place great importance on personal suitability. This is a part-time position with up to 20% hours.
