The Social Services Department is responsible for providing support, care and assistance to people at different stages of life. We work based on the individual's needs and offer services built on several laws, including the Social Services Act (SoL), the Act on Support and Services for Persons with Disabilities (LSS) and the Health and Medical Care Act. This can involve providing elderly people with a secure and meaningful everyday life, supporting people with functional disabilities, or being there for children, young people and adults in vulnerable life situations. It is important that you are attentive, alert to changes and can handle both routine situations and more unexpected events in everyday life. You need to have the ability to document in digital systems according to current procedures. As an assistant nurse, you need a combination of professional knowledge, responsibility and a respectful approach. You enjoy collaborating but are also comfortable working independently. Your commitment and attentiveness to other people's needs are crucial for success in the role. Together with other staff, you will be involved in planning daily work. You will also work with care coordinators and other representatives in the operation to drive quality and development work, for example regarding quality registers, follow-up of incidents, and Lex Sarah. At Furulund, several exciting processes are also underway where we are currently implementing a dementia program and have active work with palliative care. You will work on a schedule with working hours during day, evening, and weekends, with weekend duty every other week. With us, you are scheduled to work three out of six weekends during a schedule period. If you wish to work more than three weekends, you will receive 1000kr gross extra per worked occasion. One work shift corresponds to one occasion, and in total you can work a maximum of four extra occasions. Qualifications We are looking for someone who is trained as a specialist nurse with vocational higher education of at least 200 credits. The assignment also requires that you have experience from work in the quality registers Senior Alert and BPSD, and that you have experience in social documentation and drafting implementation plans. It is meritorious if you have knowledge and experience of approaches and methods around low-arousal interaction. If you have experience mentoring, both at individual and group level, that is meritorious for the position. For the role as specialist nurse, we are looking for someone who understands the importance of good treatment toward users, family members, and colleagues. It is important that you are someone with the ability to organize and plan your days efficiently. Since you will be a support to colleagues, you also need to be pedagogically inclined and have the ability to communicate so that everyone understands. All units, except the rural units, are co-located on Upplagsvägen together with home healthcare nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists. Job Duties As a nursing assistant/care assistant in Home Care East, you perform service and personal care tasks for clients in their own homes. We work based on quality and safety for our clients.
