Motion Designer

Come and bring one of Sweden's strongest brands to life We're building a Content Studio for one of Sweden's most recognized brands — fast-paced, high creative ambition, and a short path from idea to published content. We're looking for you who thinks in motion. Someone who instinctively knows how a clip should feel before it's cut, how an animation should breathe before it's rendered, and how timing in motion is as much about feeling as it is technique. Not motion for motion's sake, but moving content that actually captures attention, drives engagement, and feels completely contemporary in the flow. And what you create reaches millions of people every day. At Swedbank, you'll have the opportunity to: • Work with one of Sweden's most recognized brands — and bring it to life in digital channels every day. • Reach millions of people through Sweden's most visited digital platforms and channels — reach on a scale few motion designers ever experience. • Set the standard for how one of Sweden's strongest brands moves — you're not coming in to manage an old legacy, but to build something new from the ground up. • Create moving content from idea to finished delivery — motion design, animation, and digital storytelling for social and digital feeds. • Translate messages and direction into animated formats that feel thoroughly crafted and contemporary. • Work with templates and scalable motion production without losing creative feeling. • Work closely with content creators, copywriters, designers, and marketing teams in an environment where good ideas quickly become reality. For this role, you need to: • Be visually exceptional with an expression that leans toward creator rather than corporate. This isn't a "good at After Effects" recruitment — I'm looking for a natural feel for motion, rhythm, tempo, and storytelling, and you know in your gut when a clip works. • Have 2–5 years of experience in motion design from an advertising agency, in-house studio, or creative environment — but if you're relatively early in your career with the right instinct for what captures organic attention today, that's no obstacle. • Have very strong skills in After Effects and Premiere Pro — you work fast, unhindered, and without hunting through menus. The tools are a given, not the point. • A portfolio that shows the difference between animation that "just" looks nice and animation that actually does something — you know what you're doing and why. • A strong sense of pace, rhythm, and composition, and a feel for visual trends — you're passionate about digital communication that feels current. • Fast without becoming sloppy — you seamlessly switch between thoroughly crafted, heavier motion production and faster, scalable content production without ever losing your craft. • You understand that we're a bank, but use that as a creative parameter, not an excuse to play it safe and average. Compliant without being cautious — you test the boundaries of what's possible but know exactly where they are. • Genuinely curious about AI and already using it actively in your work — you experiment, explore, and find ways to work smarter and more creatively with the tools available. • Experience working with, for example, Getty footage and integrating material into different formats. • Self-driven and unpretentious — you see what needs to be done and drive the work forward without waiting for a problem to be handed to you. You share ideas generously, take feedback calmly, and leave your ego at the door. This isn't a nice-to-have, it's a requirement. • Swedish and English — you work, think, and communicate equally well in both. With us, you can experience: Personal and professional development through self-leadership and continuous growth. Meaningful work that positively impacts our workplace, our customers, and society. An open and collaborative culture that encourages cross-functional teamwork and offers networking opportunities. A supportive and inclusive environment that promotes balanced and sustainable work life, with flexible working arrangements when suited to the role. Benefits such as our employee banking product offerings, pension plan, share-based rewards program Eken, and wellness contributions. "Join our team and... ...build something that has never existed at Swedbank before. The right person for this role lifts not just their own work but elevates the entire room and sets the standard for the whole studio. We have the brand, the reach, and the ambitions — now I'm looking for you to bring us to life. Is it you I'm looking for? Then I want us to talk. I'm looking forward to building this together with you." Magnus Fingal, your future manager We look forward to receiving your application by August 16, 2026. Location: Stockholm, Sundbyberg Recruiting Manager: Magnus Fingal In this recruitment, Swedbank is collaborating with Bohmans Nätverk, which is also responsible for the selection process. For questions about the role, contact Anders Welin at 0706 33 21 37 or [email protected], or Linda Schmidt at 076 408 77 91 or [email protected]. We'd like you to submit your application directly to one of the above contacts. Please note that the recruitment process may take a bit longer than usual due to summer vacation.
