Operations Manager for Mackverket Mackverket was founded on a simple but clear idea – a sandwich is a meal. A meal that deserves time, craftsmanship and care from raw ingredient to serving. Today, Mackverket operates five restaurants in Stockholm as well as catering and food truck operations, with a focus on generous flavors, quality and a warm guest experience. Mackverket is now seeking an Operations Manager who wants to take comprehensive operational responsibility for the restaurant operations and help develop the company further. Your Role Mackverket is strengthening its organization with an Operations Manager with overall responsibility for operational restaurant management. In this role, you are responsible for ensuring stable operations, high quality, good profitability and a consistent guest experience in line with the company's concept and values. You lead and monitor operations across multiple units and serve as a clear link between ownership/management and daily operations. During the first 6–12 months, you will work closely with the COO with the goal of gradually taking over full operational management responsibility. The role is operational and you will own the operations. Together with management, you will look at developing daily operations. Your Main Responsibilities · Overall responsibility for daily operations of Mackverket's restaurants, with focus on efficiency, structure, quality and a consistent guest experience. · Monitoring and analysis of key metrics such as sales, margins, staffing, waste and guest satisfaction, and converting analysis into concrete improvement actions. · Personnel and management responsibility for unit managers and team leads, including coaching, monitoring and development of leadership and work methods. · Ensuring effective scheduling, staffing and onboarding as well as active work with culture and values. · Responsibility for compliance with food hygiene, self-inspection and workplace safety requirements. · Implementation, development and monitoring of common procedures and standardized work methods across units. · Participation in budget work as well as monitoring of labor costs, raw material costs and profitability at unit level. · Contribution to developing and following up the business plan as decided by the board. · Participation in launches of new restaurants or concepts and serve as a sounding board to management on matters relating to operations, assortment and business development. Your Profile We are looking for you as a confident and present leader with experience from restaurant, café and/or fast casual operations in a leadership role. You preferably have had responsibility for multiple units and are experienced in leading other managers or team leads. You work in a structured and business-driven manner, with good understanding of economics and key metrics, and thrive in a role where you balance guest experience, employee well-being and profitability. As a person, you are clear and communicative, with the ability to set requirements and give feedback with warmth and respect. You are action-oriented, pedagogical and experienced in translating direction and goals into practical implementation in daily operations. Qualifications · Several years of experience in operational leadership within restaurants or related operations and documented experience leading larger groups of employees. · Good system skills, including experience with cash/POS systems, scheduling and basic financial monitoring. · Excellent ability to express yourself in Swedish in speech and writing. · B-class driver's license. Experience with multi-unit operations, catering, events or food truck operations as well as work in family-owned or fast-growing companies is a merit.
