We are now seeking an installation leader who wants to become an important specialist resource in our construction projects in the Stockholm region. About the RoleAs Installation Leader at Peab, you are responsible for leading, planning, and coordinating installation work throughout all phases of the project, from early cost estimation and bid phases to design, production, functional testing, and handover. You function as specialist support to the project organization and help optimize installation solutions based on functionality, cost, production, and sustainability. You work closely with project managers, site managers, consultants, contractors, and clients and play an important role in creating consensus between construction and installation contractors. The role involves a combination of strategic work and presence in the projects where you have the opportunity to influence both technical decisions and the projects' financial results. Your Main ResponsibilitiesLead and coordinate installation work throughout all phases of the project. Take responsibility for the entirety of installation technical solutions and ensure functionality and optimization. Participate in the procurement of installation contractors and technical consultants. Lead and coordinate installation design between different disciplines such as plumbing, electrical, and control systems. Review installation documents and ensure that the project's technical requirements are met. Serve as technical contact person to the client and other project stakeholders. Lead installation meetings and handle technical issues during production. Coordinate inspections, testing, and verification for commissioning and handover. Contribute to lessons learned and development of installation expertise within the organization. Who Are You? We are looking for someone who combines solid technical expertise with a structured and business-minded approach. You thrive in a coordinating role where you work with many different stakeholders and have the ability to build trust through your competence, engagement, and communication skills. As a person, you are solution-oriented, self-driven, and confident in your professional skills. You are used to taking responsibility, creating structure in complex projects, and driving matters forward while building strong collaborations and contributing to a positive team spirit. Furthermore, you have a good understanding of the client's needs and the project as a whole, which enables you to successfully balance technology, quality, economics, and production. To be successful in this role, we see that you have: Technical education at university level or equivalent experience. At least five years of experience in the construction and installation industry. Very good understanding of the building process and installation systems' impact on the project's functionality, economics, and implementation. Experience in design, contracting, or production within the construction sector. Knowledge in design management, production planning, and contract law. Good skills in Swedish, both spoken and written.
