Working with simulation and modeling assignments through Labatus As a simulation developer with us, you work on assignments where modeling and simulation are a crucial part of system development. This could include: Modeling of dynamic systems Development of simulation frameworks and tools Real-time simulation and systems-level development Development of methodology for verification and validation Integration between software, hardware, and control systems Prototypes, demonstrators, and technical studies Our assignments exist within several technology-intensive industries – for example, defense, automotive, autonomous systems, industry, and advanced training or visualization environments. Your qualifications We are looking for you who have a PhD or equivalent scientific competence. We are primarily looking for someone who completed their PhD within the past seven years. For this position, primary weight will be placed on scientific skills, secondary weight on pedagogical skills, and tertiary weight on other skills that are deemed equivalent to each other. Regarding scientific skills, the following will be evaluated: Requirements for the position are: documented scientific skills in cybersecurity or related fields. ability to independently conduct high-quality research. Particularly meritorious are: experience in cybersecurity research related to AI and/or critical infrastructure. breadth and depth in research as well as its originality and independence, documented through publications in leading journals and at established conferences in the field. ability to formulate applications and attract external research funding. experience in national and international research collaboration and participation in the research community, for example through peer review assignments. Within computer science and cybersecurity, it is noted that publication at leading, peer-reviewed conferences carries equal weight as journal publications. Regarding pedagogical skills, the following will be evaluated: Requirements for the position are: ability to plan, conduct, and evaluate teaching at undergraduate and/or advanced level in computer science or cybersecurity. Component Engineer / Mechanical Engineer for Aerospace Operations in Linköping

Do you want to work with mechanical components in advanced aerospace systems where quality and reliability are absolutely critical? As a component engineer in mechanics, you'll play a central role between procurement, design, and production in aerospace defense operations, where your technical expertise makes a real difference. This is a consulting assignment with long-term focus. About the Role As a component engineer in mechanics, you ensure that mechanical components meet high standards for quality, function, and reliability in advanced aerospace systems. You drive component qualification, investigate deviations and failures, and are responsible for ensuring that component information and technical documentation are correct and up to date. You work in a qualification process where, based on requirements and intended use environment, you assess whether a component is suitable and develop documentation supporting that decision. Components include fasteners, rivets, nuts and bolts, insulation, and hoses, pipes, and couplings. The role alternates between detail-level work—diving into datasheets and documentation—and coordinating and driving dialogue between design, procurement, and production. You have the most contact with suppliers, who also present their product lines. Daily work is structured in Jira.
