Test Engineer at Leading Technology Company

ABOUT THE ROLE As a Test Engineer, you'll become part of a larger technical operation that develops advanced and safety-critical systems. You'll join an experienced test team that currently consists of approximately 15 people and is in an expansion phase. In this role, you'll work with verification and testing of safety-critical software in a hardware-near environment. A central part of the work takes place in HIL rigs (Hardware-in-the-Loop), where you test software together with physical hardware to ensure systems function according to established requirements. You'll work closely with other test engineers, developers, and other technical expertise. This role suits you if you enjoy understanding how complex systems work in depth and thrive in an environment where quality, analysis, and documentation are important parts of your daily work. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts Perform testing of safety-critical software and hardware-near systems Work with testing in HIL rigs Analyze and document test results and identify deviations Collaborate with developers and other engineers to troubleshoot and solve technical problems Contribute to developing and improving test methods and approaches WE'RE LOOKING FOR YOU IF YOU: Have at least one year of work experience in testing, for example of software, embedded systems, or hardware-near systems Have a university degree or master's degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent field Have experience from a technically complex or safety-critical environment, for example in the automotive industry, rail, medical technology, or similar Have an interest in and understanding of hardware-near testing Have experience with programming or scripting, for example in Python Have strong ability to document and analyze test results Have very good command of English in speech and writing as the language is used in daily work To thrive in this role, we believe you're analytical, structured, and meticulous with a genuine interest in technology and problem-solving.
