Your Responsibilities Would you like to work at the intersection of strategic procurement, business development, and international affairs? As a Strategic Procurement Manager in Indirect Procurement at Saab, you will have a central role in developing industrial partnerships and business opportunities in international markets. You will become part of a newly established procurement department and work closely with the market, sales, and business development organizations. This role suits you if you thrive with multiple points of contact, have a strong commercial drive, and want to contribute to long-term business and partnerships. In this role, you will represent the procurement function in Industrial Cooperation projects and contribute your commercial and strategic perspective. You will work both on identifying new opportunities and developing existing partnerships. Your responsibilities will include: Representing the procurement function in Industrial Cooperation projects. Identifying, evaluating, and developing suppliers and partners in international markets. Contributing procurement and supplier perspectives to campaign work and various business structures. Conducting market analyses, tender processes, and supplier evaluations. Negotiating commercial terms and establishing and managing supplier agreements. Building and developing long-term business relationships. Identifying competitive supplier and partnership solutions that create value for both Saab and our customers. Your Profile We are looking for someone with a strong commercial drive, good business acumen, and who thrives working at the interface of procurement, sales, and business development. You are relationship-oriented, communicative, and have the ability to see both business opportunities and long-term partnerships. We would like to see that you have: Relevant academic education or equivalent work experience. Several years of experience in strategic procurement, supplier development, or other commercial roles. Experience in negotiation and development of business relationships. Very good communication skills in Swedish and English. Spanish language skills are a merit. It is meritorious if you have experience in Industrial Cooperation, Offset, or international business partnerships, as well as experience in international business relationships and supplier development. Experience from the defense, aviation, or other high-tech industries is also a merit. This position requires you to undergo and be approved according to applicable security clearance regulations.
