We are growing and are looking for you to work as a platoon leader at the 12th Supply Platoon. 31st Air Base Battalion and 311th Staff and Logistics Company 31st Air Base Battalion consists of four companies and a battalion staff, with the main task of maintaining air bases and supporting fighter squadrons. As a platoon leader, you will be part of 311th Staff and Logistics Company, whose task is to support the air base with communications services, logistics services (e.g., transportation, fuel and supply services) and medical services. 12th Supply Platoon The Supply Platoon consists of a platoon leadership, a supply group, a vehicle fuel group, a supply group and a mechanic group that work together to support the air base with logistics services. The platoon ensures that most of the air base receives, for example, food, ammunition, consumables and support with repairs ranging from vehicles to weapons and generators. Main responsibilities As a supply platoon leader, you are responsible in daily service for leading the platoon's operations and ensuring that personnel maintain and develop skills in both their main service and in general soldier skills at both individual and group levels. To assist you, you have the platoon's specialist officers with expertise in the different areas. During exercises and operations, your task is to lead the establishment of the deployment area and the platoon's daily routine service, which requires extensive monitoring and creative problem solving. You will also plan smaller operations on and outside the air base and provide support to the company and battalion within logistics services, for example with prioritization of resources to maximize the battalion's effectiveness. This requires that you have good administrative and analytical skills and can handle multiple tasks simultaneously, as the platoon operates within distinct different operational areas and during all hours of the day.
