Nurse to Psychiatric Care Team/PAK
At the Psychiatric Emergency Department (PAK), 20 nursing assistants/nurses currently work, and in the Psychiatric Care Team (SPOT), 4 nursing assistants/nurses, 1 care coordinator, and 1 care unit manager (VEC) work. According to the region's guidelines, several nurses rotate between the units and to ward 10. The assignment includes acute specialist psychiatric assessments around the clock and nursing care during daytime in collaboration with physicians. The work also includes counseling via TeleQ and outpatient visits for assessment of care needs, both within voluntary psychiatric care and under the Mental Health Care Act (LPT). MiniMaria is a pilot project aimed at increasing access to early, coordinated, and evidence-based interventions for young people who are in or at risk of harmful use or dependence on alcohol, drugs, or gambling. MiniMaria serves young people and young adults up to 25 years old living in Sandviken, Hofors, or Ockelbo municipality, as well as their close relatives.
