At the Psychiatric Emergency Department (PAK), 20 nursing assistants/nurses currently work, and in the Psychiatric Care Team (SPOT), 4 nursing assistants/nurses, 1 care coordinator, and 1 care unit manager (VEC) work. According to the region's guidelines, several nurses rotate between the units and to ward 10. The assignment includes acute specialist psychiatric assessments around the clock and nursing care during daytime in collaboration with physicians. The work also includes counseling via TeleQ and outpatient visits for assessment of care needs, both within voluntary psychiatric care and under the Mental Health Care Act (LPT). SPOT operates outside the hospital, often in patients' homes, providing supportive conversations, behavioral activation, and training in social skills. We are now expanding SPOT with services in the evenings and weekends and strengthening PAK with additional nurses. 2 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a nurse with us, you will have a varied and independent role where you meet patients with diverse psychiatric care needs. You work in close collaboration with different professions and care providers to deliver safe, secure, and person-centered care. As a nurse with us, you will work with • outpatient visits, telephone counseling, and assessment of care needs, triage, and counseling and supportive conversations • collaboration with various stakeholders through coordination meetings and coordinated individual plans (SIP) • medication administration, including LARO treatment on weekends • documentation in Cosmic, admissions, referral handling, and cash register operations. You have good collaboration skills, are independent, and can make well-founded decisions even in acute situations. You are clear, calm, and empathetic in working with patients and have a genuine interest in specialist psychiatric nursing. You bring hope and a positive outlook to your work. In your role as a nurse, you should • be a licensed nurse. It is advantageous if you have • experience working in psychiatric care. • experience working in a psychiatric emergency department or emergency care. • knowledge of the Mental Health Care Act (LPT). • experience working with LARO treatment. • experience with the Cosmic medical record system.
