The Operating Room and Recovery Unit are part of Central Surgery Hudiksvall. Here we perform scheduled and emergency procedures in anesthesia and surgical care, for both children (from 1 year) and adults. We provide services to all departments at Hudiksvall Hospital. 2 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a nurse in the operating room/recovery unit, you will work with • pre- and postoperative care • ensuring and managing the unit's medical technical equipment • preparing and administering medications according to general guidelines or specific orders. Working hours are Monday through Friday, day and evening shifts. As part of operational staffing and competency development, four weeks of rotation within 24-hour operations are included. Rotation may also occur during other periods based on operational needs. You should also have good collaboration skills. Experience from pre- and postoperative care weighs heavily in this recruitment, as does your willingness to develop by completing the course Nursing in Postoperative and Surgical Intermediate Care for Nurses 7.5 credits. In your role as a nurse, you should • be a licensed nurse with authorization to practice in Swedish healthcare • have Swedish language skills at least at level C1 according to the Council of Europe scale, which may also include a passing grade in Swedish 3 or a passing grade in Swedish as a Second Language 3, or a passing result from a Swedish Language Course for Non-Nordic Students equivalent to 60 credits. For this position, it is an asset if you have professional experience in the field.
