About the Workplace The IT Department is responsible for IT and broadband operations in Sorsele Municipality. With combined expertise, we support the municipality's operations with software and hardware support as well as database and system management for municipal operations. We are an independent communications operator in Sorsele city network and manage the municipality's fiber network. We have a small and pleasant workplace with short decision-making processes, and as an IT Technician with us, you will encounter varied and developmental work tasks. Your Responsibilities Operation and monitoring of business systems, database management and optimization. Development, troubleshooting and problem-solving. Management of orders as well as support and advisory services. Information and IT security. You will also handle more advanced cases. The work may involve tasks related to critical infrastructure, and you may therefore need to undergo security clearance. The position requires physical presence at the workplace as well as visits to various municipal operations; a Class B driver's license is therefore a requirement. The position also requires good ability to express yourself in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.
