The Rescue Service's operational work involves responding to rescue missions during accidents and imminent danger to prevent and limit damage to people, property, and the environment. The operational on-call crews in Lycksele consist of part-time firefighters with the main station in Lycksele and a station located in Rusksele. We are responsible for an area of 5,560 km² with a population of 12,800 people, of which Lycksele city accounts for approximately 8,500 people. You have your work and residence within a 6-minute travel time from the fire station in Lycksele or Rusksele - You have a Category B driving license, preferably also Category C.
