ABOUT THE JOB We are now seeking a nursing assistant for Maskrosen Group Home for a permanent position. Maskrosen is a special residential facility with 23 apartments for elderly people with various forms of dementia. Our work is to make a difference for those who live with us, so that their quality of life and daily routine becomes as good as possible. The most important work tool we have is our approach, our smile and our care that makes the residents feel seen and affirmed. At Maskrosen, we work as a team with nursing assistants, care assistants, care workers and a responsible nurse. We support and advise each other so that we can go home satisfied after our working day together. In our job we must be flexible, as one day is rarely like another and it is important that you enjoy the job and that everyone is involved in the daily work. The work tasks include being a fixed care contact for one or more users. This means that you are responsible for ensuring that the person receives the care and support they need by creating care plans, ensuring they are up to date and that they are followed, and that you maintain continuous contact with relatives. Your work tasks also include other quality assurance tasks such as daily documentation in our LifeCare journal system, conducting risk assessments in Senior Alert, participating in group meetings, being involved in ombudsman roles such as food ombudsman, activities ombudsman, hygiene ombudsman, etc. Within Support, Care and Welfare, we work to make full-time work the norm. To enable full-time work, flexibility in the organization is required. This means that as an employee with us, you may work at different units within our operational area as needed. Working hours are scheduled with day, evening and weekend shifts. YOUR PROFILE We believe in the right competence in the right place. We are looking for you who are a trained nursing assistant. It is an advantage if you have experience from elderly care and dementia care, and have had medication administration responsibility in a previous position. To succeed in the role of nursing assistant, you should be good at documenting and communicating verbally and in writing and have a pedagogical and good approach. As a person, you have the ability to adapt in your work and prioritize according to the current conditions. You see the work group as an asset for support and exchange of experience, while at the same time you have the ability to independently take responsibility and drive your work forward. You have a positive attitude that is contagious to your surroundings where you see opportunities instead of obstacles.
