Our job is to meet, guide, and motivate people seeking assistance toward self-sufficiency through work or studies. As society's safety net, we are here for those who need us. We are divided into four units and work in centrally located premises near the train station. For us, collaboration and knowledge exchange are important, which is why we have organized meetings in smaller team groups to discuss ideas and questions with each other. We actively work with development, digitalization, and new ways of working to create more time for meetings with people. Right now, we are focusing on strengthening our work with implementing activity requirements and ensuring that more applicants have the opportunity to participate in skills development activities. We are now looking for a Team Leader for Unit 2! 1 position(s). WORK TASKS As a team leader, you guide and coach the team toward common goals, both individually and in groups. You are part of the management group together with unit managers and other team leaders. You ensure quality in case management by supervising social workers in their handling and decision-making according to the Social Services Act. You may yourself become engaged in more complicated or urgent cases, which means you make quick decisions when required, regardless of the situation. You also work with statistics, assignment and results follow-ups, and procedure descriptions. You contribute to a good work environment and of course maintain professional conduct in collaboration, both internally within the department and externally with other parts of the municipality and various authorities. You will receive an introduction and mentor support that lasts as long as you need it. You will have the opportunity for wellness hours/wellness allowance, exercise time, and flexible hours. We want to give you the opportunity to develop yourself through both internal and external training as well as ongoing participation in lectures within your field of work. You also have the opportunity to influence the operation as a whole by participating in various development projects. Much depends on what experience and areas of interest you bring with you, and how together we can utilize this in your role as team leader. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with an academic degree as a social worker or behavioral scientist. If you have completed 7.5 credits in social law, that is a plus. We also see that you have at least 2 years of current work experience in public administration, preferably within financial assistance. It is good if you have experience as a leader, for example as a team leader, coordinator, or project leader. We also see it as positive if you have experience driving development projects and change processes. You lead in a way that creates security in the group. You are clear, constructive, and provide feedback to maintain high quality. You can make decisions in pressured situations and treat people in a professional manner. We believe you are a driven person who enjoys working with development at a fast pace. At the same time, you are confident and flexible in working within an area that is often changing. We are looking for someone who can see both the big picture and the details, and who is happy to engage in everything from everyday matters to larger development areas.
