Within the Water & Wastewater business area, we provide the residents of Eskilstuna and Strängnäs with the water they need daily. On the planning department, we are currently 20 colleagues who plan for renewal and expansion of pipeline networks, and now we need more of us.
Your responsibilities
This is an exciting and varied role where you get to collaborate extensively with colleagues internally, but also with authorities, consultants, and developers. You get to contribute to good collaborations and solve complex issues. The reinvestment and reinforcement needs in our municipalities are very large and this places high demands on efficiency and long-term planning.
You work with analyzing, planning, and driving renewal of water and wastewater pipeline networks. You conduct technical investigations, prioritize measures, develop investment plans, and manage implementation and follow-up of reinvestments.
You collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and contribute to developing long-term sustainable solutions for the municipality's water and wastewater infrastructure.
You get to contribute expert opinions with your competence in the various stages of the municipalities' physical planning processes.

Education and previous experience
We are looking for you who like to create structure and thrive in a role where you get to take significant personal responsibility. You have an easy way of explaining complex issues, enjoy working in a team, and like a workday where you get to be creative and solution-oriented.
University or college education in water and wastewater engineering, civil engineering, roads and water, environmental engineering, or other relevant technical education. Alternatively, equivalent experience in water and wastewater planning and pipeline network work.
You have several years of experience from the water and wastewater field where you feel confident investigating and presenting measures on existing water and wastewater pipeline networks.
Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.
