Coordinator for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Intermediate Care in Lund

Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (BUP) in Scania provides psychiatric outpatient care in four geographic areas for children and adolescents with moderate to severe mental health issues. Inpatient care is located in Malmö. BUP Lund has approximately 120 employees and is responsible for children and adolescents up to 18 years of age and their families in eight municipalities. The operations include three outpatient clinics, one intermediate care clinic, and one clinic for hearing-impaired and deaf individuals. Intermediate Care is directed at children and adolescents from age six with comprehensive, long-term, and complex psychiatric needs that cannot be met within outpatient care but typically do not require inpatient care. The team at Intermediate Care works with support of standardized care processes and routines, often in team constellations around the patient and family combined with professional autonomy and freedom. For increased collaboration and care and support with high continuity, the operation is implementing the Flexible Assertive Community Treatment (FACT) Youth approach, in collaboration with the municipalities. Training and supervision in the model's working methods will be offered. 1 position(s). RESPONSIBILITIES You will be part of our team of skilled and experienced colleagues from various professional categories: coordinators, psychologists, nurses, doctors, care assistants, secretaries, and unit managers. In your role as coordinator, you work with psychosocial assessment, evaluation, treatment, parental support, and collaboration with care partners and other stakeholders such as schools and social services. Visits take place at the clinic, through home visits, or in the child's immediate environment. Research Assistant

Would you like to contribute to high-quality medical research? The Department of Laboratory Medicine consists of seven divisions conducting both research and education. The department is involved in advanced research in both basic and applied research. All divisions conduct their activities in close contact with clinics at Karolinska University Hospital. Your Assignment During fall 2026, we will conduct physical testing in a cohort of retired Swedish men and women. The aim is to increase knowledge about sarcopenia, and therefore we will perform advanced examinations of muscles and the nervous system. You will be responsible for examining the number of motor units (Motor Unit Number Estimation, MUNE) using MScanFit, as well as performing high-resolution electromyography (HD-EMG) to measure the electrical activity of muscles. You will also serve as a backup for other tests in the study (Biodex, max VO2, force plate usage). You will also conduct subsequent analyses of the test results. Who Are You? To be eligible for the position, you must have a bachelor's degree in exercise physiology and a master's degree (or be a master's student) in a relevant field of study. We are seeking a candidate with documented experience performing MScanFit and HD-EMG methodology on humans. Previous experience testing physical function with Biodex and force plate as well as maximal oxygen uptake testing is also required. You must also master common statistical analyses, biosignal analysis, and have experience with statistical software such as R or SPSS.
