The Operations and Service Department functions as a service organization to the municipality's departments, operations, and external customers. The department is responsible for coordinating the departments' work on issues of municipal common interest and supporting them in their mission to offer the municipality's residents good service within given frameworks.
The department is responsible for the municipality's real estate portfolio, facility maintenance, street/park, IT operations and its development, food production, service center, vehicle coordination, and internal mail distribution.
We are now seeking an engaged and structured Operations Technician for our real estate unit. You work both independently and as part of a team to optimize our properties' technical systems. You work in the IT systems we use, as well as operationally in our facilities.
Within our unit and department, we work closely together, and it is natural to contribute across several of the areas we work with.

DUTIES
• Perform troubleshooting, corrective measures, and planned maintenance of building technical systems
• Conduct rounds, monitoring, and maintenance of technical systems
• Manage and optimize control and monitoring systems
• Be a requirement setter toward contractors and follow up on orders and warranty matters
• Plan, manage, and execute maintenance projects including contact with clients and contractors
• Document performed actions and contribute to improving procedures and working methods
• Act as advisor on matters concerning operational optimization, energy issues, and technical relationships
• Collaborate with operations, tenants, and suppliers on technical matters
• Act as facility manager for fire alarms and sprinkler systems and handle the associated tasks
• Handle regulatory inspections and surveys and the associated tasks
QUALIFICATIONS
• Building technical education at least at upper secondary school level or equivalent
• Experience as an operations technician or equivalent in a real estate environment
• Good knowledge of electrical systems, ventilation, heating, sanitation, control and regulation technology, and monitoring systems
• Good IT skills and ability to document work
• Good Swedish in speech and writing
• Class B driver's license
Meritorious
• Electrical certification
• Experience with fire alarm and sprinkler systems
• In-depth knowledge of energy optimization
• Experience with access control systems and burglar alarms
• Interest in technology development within building technology
