Nordmarkens skola is located in the southern part of Årjängs town center and is the municipality's largest school. It is a grades F-9 school with approximately 700 students and just over 100 staff. The school grounds consist of three different buildings, two of which are relatively newly built. One for grades 1-6, one for grades 7-9, and one for preschool class, after-school center and preparatory class. The middle school is the municipality's only middle school with approximately 330 students in grades 7-9. The school was built in 2015 and every student has access to their own computer. The students at the school are a cross-section of our society, and approximately 60 staff work at the school. Teaching should be adapted based on students' needs, and staff have high expectations that students will achieve good results. We have a well-functioning support system that aims to quickly identify students and implement support early. The school has special educators, special pedagogue, counselor, school nurse, study and career guidance counselor, and through student health services there is access to school psychologist and school physician. 1 position(s). JOB DUTIES We are looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable Spanish teacher for grades 6-9 who wants to be part of Nordmarkens skola. Mentorship is included. As a Spanish teacher with us, you will work in a well-organized team with great focus on collaboration and support, both within Spanish and with other subject colleagues. You have an important role in supporting students' development, both linguistically and socially. Creativity and cultural creation are a natural part of our school's values, and we see it as a shared responsibility to create an environment where students thrive and reach their full potential. QUALIFICATIONS • Teaching license with authorization to teach Spanish for grades 6-9 • Strong knowledge of the Spanish language and Spanish-speaking culture • Experience teaching in primary/middle school is a merit • Ability to create a safe and inclusive learning environment • Good collaboration skills and experience working in subject and work teams • Interest in developing teaching with support of digital tools • Commitment to students' knowledge development and well-being • Valid driver's license is a requirement as some teaching takes place at another school in the municipality Merits include: Experience with and knowledge of NPF.
