We are now recruiting a committed substitute teacher for Ekeby School and After-School Program! Ekeby School is characterized by a safe and trusting culture where we care about our students and each other. The school is located in Ekeby, on the outskirts of Kumla, with nature as our nearest neighbor. 1 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Together with your colleagues, you create an engaging, safe and coherent day for the students. You and your colleagues stimulate students to learn in an environment adapted based on the group's and students' interests, abilities and needs. The after-school program is an important part of our operations where after-school pedagogy is central throughout the school day, primarily in after-school instruction but also during recess activities. You may be offered work as a substitute teacher, after-school teacher, and as a resource person at group level during lessons and recess. QUALIFICATIONS As an applicant, you should ideally have relevant education, but it is not a requirement to work as a substitute with us. This is meaningful work and what matters most to us is that you have an interest in working with children's and young people's learning and development. As a person, you are confident, find it easy to build relationships, and have a professional approach towards students, guardians and colleagues. You should be flexible to thrive in the substitute teacher role at Ekeby School. Previous experience working with children is advantageous, as is a good understanding of children with various difficulties. We place great importance on personal suitability for the position.
