Bioprocess Operator - Filling, BioLamina

BioLamina is now looking for a Bioprocess Operator to join one of their production teams in Sundbyberg. This is an opportunity to take on a varied, hands-on role with responsibility for filling and labeling, while working alongside new automation technology and broadening your skills across different areas of production. The role As a Bioprocess Operator, you will work hands-on with small-scale batch manufacturing in a cleanroom environment, with particular responsibility for the filling and labeling process. While these processes have previously been performed manually, BioLamina has recently invested in a new automated filling and labeling system and your role is to be the operator and technical authority behind that equipment. You will manage day-to-day operations, troubleshoot issues, and continuously optimize the process. This is not a passive monitoring role. You will be actively engaged in the manufacturing process, combining hands-on work with technical problem-solving. While filling and labeling will be your primary focus, you will also work across other areas of production, gradually broadening your experience in protein purification and manufacturing. Production is a true team effort. You will join one of three production teams, working alongside 12 operators and engineers in a collaborative environment with a supportive and accessible manager. There is a strong sense of community across the company, with shared lunches and social activities being a natural part of your workday. BioLamina operates across three sites in Solna, Sundbyberg, and Flemingsberg. In this role, you will be based on-site in Sundbyberg, working daytime hours, Monday to Friday. Key responsibilities: Hands-on operation and optimization of the filling and labeling equipment, including control system management, troubleshooting and technical problem-solving. Hands-on batch manufacturing, while also supporting downstream processing, primarily protein purification. Ensuring quality, efficiency and traceability throughout the filling and labeling process. Proactively identifying and driving continuous improvements in processes and ways of working. Managing manufacturing documentation, such as batch records, and contributing to the handling of deviations, change controls and risk assessments in accordance with established procedures, ISO 9001 and the quality management system. Collaborating closely with operators, engineers, quality, maintenance and logistics to ensure an efficient production flow. Your profile We are looking for someone with a hands-on approach, technical curiosity, and the confidence to take ownership of complex equipment and processes. You are comfortable with technology, willing to learn new systems, and keen to actively participate in troubleshooting and problem-solving. You want to become the technical expert in your area and the person others turn to for guidance on equipment operation and troubleshooting. At the same time, collaboration comes naturally to you. You enjoy working closely with colleagues across different functions and understand the importance of contributing to the team while taking responsibility for your own part of the process. You pay attention to detail and work in a structured and quality-conscious way. Requirements: At least a couple of years of production experience within life sciences, biotech, or another regulated industry. Experience with automated filling is required, and labeling experience is an advantage. Experience working in cleanroom environments and with aseptic techniques. Comfortable operating control systems, with a willingness to troubleshoot and optimize equipment operation. Technical interest and a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Swedish language skills are an advantage, but not a requirement. Why join? At BioLamina, you will join an international and value-driven biotech company with high ambitions and products that support the development of future cell therapies. You will work alongside dedicated colleagues in an environment where quality, collaboration and continuous improvement are central. BioLamina is a learning organization where knowledge is shared and new perspectives are encouraged. To ensure long-term success, we navigate and follow up on our operations across five areas: Attractive residential areas, Safety and well-being, Climate and resource-efficient operations, Attractive workplace, and Financial responsibility. The organization has a strong focus on sustainability and is environmentally certified according to ISO 14001. Experienced and Driven Facilities Technician Would you like to take a central role in a competent team where technology, sustainability, and collaboration are in focus? At the organization, you'll get a broad role with great opportunities to make an impact. Here, you don't just manage operations—you see the bigger picture, understand the consequences, and help develop the property portfolio. About the Role This role makes you part of the Technology and Energy unit, which consists of 11 employees, where you report to the unit manager. Unlike many other property management companies, we've chosen not to compartmentalize expertise into different departments. This means you'll work closely with and learn from colleagues in areas such as control and regulation systems, technical management, environment, water damage, and energy. The goal is to help each other across boundaries while each person has clear areas of responsibility. Key Responsibilities The role of facilities technician is largely about preventive work and long-term thinking. In your daily work, you independently monitor and optimize our systems in consultation with nearby colleagues, handle error reports, identify causal relationships in systems, and anticipate the effects of various measures to proactively prevent operational disruptions. Examples of work tasks: Supervision, maintenance, and corrective servicing of all heating, ventilation, and cooling systems with their associated control and regulation systems. Ensure correct operating hours and that temperatures comply with legal requirements and contracts. Participate in providing documentation for budget work and maintenance planning. Analyze and provide improvement suggestions when monitoring energy consumption. Assist with government inspections and work on ventilation measures. Carry out systematic fire safety work. Personal Qualities As a person, you are self-driven, have a structured work approach, and good ability to prioritize when the pace is high. You also understand the importance of thorough documentation and follow-up. To succeed in this role, you have strong technical expertise, take own initiatives, and have an eye for what needs to be done. You are a reliable and stable person who keeps calm in pressured situations. Because the role involves many contact points, you have very good social and communication skills and handle potential conflicts constructively. Do you recognize yourself in values such as "we like people, we listen with curiosity and dare to challenge, and we say and do things we can stand for"? Then the organization is the right place for you. What We Offer For us, it's important to be able to combine a career with a private life where there is room for your priorities. We therefore offer a flexible work day, good benefits, and an appreciated reduction in working hours during the summer half of the year. At the organization, you become part of a work community with healthy values and a diversity of employees who together create attractive and safe residential areas where people thrive and feel good. That we have proud, satisfied, and engaged employees who are happy to recommend the organization as an employer—our employee survey shows this year after year. We also have respected leaders and a leadership index that is well above the Swedish average. Show your interest in the position by September 13, 2026. Interviews will be held on an ongoing basis and the position may be filled during the advertising period. If you have any questions, please contact recruitment consultant Ann-Catrine Nilsson-Gärd. Our operations include refineries, terminals, fuel stations, renewable fuels, biogas, electric vehicle charging infrastructure, and other critical energy infrastructure. Over 1,000 employees work together to create a more sustainable energy future. About the Role Operational Technology (OT) is central to our operations – from the Gothenburg refinery and our fuel terminals to depots, marine facilities, and retail operations. We are now looking for an OT Cybersecurity Engineer who wants to take responsibility for cybersecurity in this environment. This is a practical and strategic role where you combine developing security strategies with concrete implementation. You will develop security standards, implement our Cybersecurity Management System (CSMS), and lead the rollout of our OT cybersecurity architecture across multiple locations. Your Responsibilities You will be responsible for: • Leading the rollout of our OT cybersecurity architecture across multiple locations. • Implementing and managing the OT Cybersecurity Management System (CSMS). • Developing and maintaining OT security standards in line with ISO/IEC 27001, IEC 62443, CIS Controls, and NIS2. • Working with both OT and supporting IT infrastructure to specify and verify security controls. • Challenging and guiding OT vendors on cybersecurity requirements. • Being a trusted advisor on OT security for refineries, terminals, and retail operations in the Nordic region. Your Profile We are looking for someone with documented experience implementing OT cybersecurity in industrial environments. Experience working in multi-facility environments is a plus. You have a strong understanding of OT security and the differences between OT and IT security. You combine technical expertise with experience in governance, structure, and security work.
