Who am I? I'm an active and spirited 25-year-old who loves sports and enjoys staying active. On weekday evenings and certain weekends, I have regular activities such as bowling, padel, swimming, gym, floorball, and basketball. That's when I need your help. I participate in many sports in my own way and need support and assistance with several aspects of my daily life. For example: · Packing my sports bag for basketball practice · Getting dressed properly · Supporting me with personal hygiene when needed · When I'm hungry and need to eat, I might need help cutting food, ensuring it's the right temperature, and preventing me from making too much of a mess · I also need your support in planning what I should do and keep myself occupied during the day. I usually want to choose activities myself with help from visual aids or digital tools that you prepare · I work with a pair of two assistants. It's important to me that you also enjoy being outdoors and taking walks, and that you're willing to help me come up with fun and creative solutions for activities. We have access to a car to easily get to activities and outings. Who are you as an assistant? I need you as a personal assistant because I have an autism diagnosis and intellectual disability, which makes it difficult for me to meet my own basic needs and wishes. If you're my personal assistant, I'd appreciate it if you also enjoy sports and being active together with me. For us to be a good match, I need you to be attentive to my needs and resourceful so we can do fun activities together. Since I need this support in my daily life, you have the personal maturity to help me meet my needs. It's a plus, but not necessary, if you've worked as a personal assistant before and have knowledge about my disability autism.
