About the job The Swedish Tax Agency's IT department is one of Sweden's largest and has a varied and complex IT environment. We're responsible for operations, management, and development of both the Swedish Tax Agency's and our customers' IT systems. If you have experience working in Windows Server environments and want to work in one of Sweden's largest IT environments, you're welcome to apply for this position: We're now looking for a Windows Server Technician for our team that works with operations and maintenance of Windows Server environments. The team consists of 9 employees responsible for the availability of approximately 2,000 virtual servers. This year we'll be replacing the technical platform, which will lead to many exciting and developmental work tasks involving new technology! Your work tasks include, among other things, operations and installation of virtual servers including surrounding infrastructure. You'll respond to alarms and incidents on the Windows Server platform and drive work with automation and efficiency improvements using PowerShell. You'll work with security patching of the Windows platform using Configuration Manager and collaborate with the Windows Server development team. You'll also handle installation of customer applications in production environments and documentation management. The position includes on-call duty and some scheduled working hours. Work in evenings and on weekends may occur. The workplace location for this position is in Sundbyberg and work is performed on-site at the office. You should also have: relevant education in IT, or alternatively several years of current and relevant work experience that the employer considers equivalent at least three years of work experience troubleshooting both the operating system and communication problems in Windows Server environments (version 2019 or later), where the experience should involve direct work in the Windows environment and not only system administration several years of current and relevant work experience with Microsoft Active Directory several years of current and relevant work experience with PowerShell It's desirable to have several years of current and relevant work experience with Active Directory Federation Services (AD FS), Domain Name Server (DNS), VMware, certificate management, and System Center Configuration Manager (CM). We'd like to see that you have experience with how applications are managed on a Windows Server platform. Experience working at a larger government agency is also desirable. Good to know The employment is permanent and may begin with a six-month trial period. Employment with us may involve placement in a security classification. A security clearance with a background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted before an employment decision.
