Responsibilities: The Research Coordinator for the European networks has the primary task of compiling the network's yearbook – Europaperspektiv. The work includes leading the coordination of editorial work, which involves the three chairs of the European networks and chapter authors, as well as contacts with the publisher and media ahead of the yearbook's launch. The work also includes carrying out editorial processing of texts for the yearbook and administering the editorial work, including compilation and follow-up of editorial comments, as well as fee payments and travel arrangements. The Research Coordinator actively participates in planning the yearbook and preparing for editorial meetings, and coordinates the seminars organized in connection with the book's launch. The position also includes assisting the editors with processing and finalizing the English edition of Europaperspektiv. Within the framework of the Swedish Network for European Research in Political Science (SNES), the Research Coordinator has a coordinating function that includes providing administrative support for the annual conference organized by the network, as well as SNES board meetings. The coordinator prepares for and participates in the network's board meetings, compiles applications for funding for junior researchers, and provides administrative support to the network's chair. A smaller part of the position includes managing email lists, sending announcements about upcoming activities, and updating websites for both the yearbook and SNES. Qualifications: The position requires documented ability at a high level to review, compile, and organize academic texts within the yearbook's overarching themes, as well as to work actively with the yearbook's chapter authors. Previous experience in finalizing book manuscripts, editorial work in scientific journals or book series, and organizing seminars and major conferences is required. Previous experience from or knowledge of work in academic networks is an important merit. The position requires documented good knowledge and research-oriented understanding of the European Union's political system, political developments in Europe and the world. Secure Start as a New Nurse in Acute Pediatric Care

A Secure Start with us We know that a good introduction makes a big difference. That's why we want to give you a secure start and good opportunities to develop within acute pediatric care. Through our introduction program Secure Start, you will receive a structured introduction with education, training and support in your daily work. The program focuses on the acutely ill child and includes a review of operational guidelines and procedures, S+A CPR for Children, scenario training and reflection. The introduction is also tailored to your previous experience and needs. The introduction program will be offered twice a year, in January and August/September. The first program start will be in January 2027. Our Operations The Acute Pediatric Care section consists of acute care ward 95 E, the acute clinic for children and young people, and specialized pediatrics 95 E. On the acute care ward, we care for, treat and evaluate children and adolescents 0–18 years old who need a few days of hospital care. Common patient groups are children with infections, kidney or heart problems. At the acute clinic for children and young people, we receive children and adolescents with acute medical, orthopedic and surgical diseases and injuries. The operation is open 24/7 and the pace varies from day to day. Within specialized pediatrics 95 E, highly specialized investigations and treatments are carried out within our day care flow. We are a committed and multidisciplinary team with the sick child and family at the center. Our work is characterized by collaboration, knowledge exchange and an open climate where we support each other. Patient safety, professional conduct and continuous development are natural parts of everyday life. We place great emphasis on education, reflection and feedback, and work actively to ensure that all employees feel secure and develop in their role. Your Assignment As a nurse, you will work either on acute care ward 95 E or at the acute clinic for children and young people. There is also the possibility to rotate between the operations which are located in adjacent facilities. On 95 E you work in a team together with nurses, nursing assistants and physicians. The work is varied and includes typical nursing tasks within acute pediatric care. At the children's acute clinic you work both independently and in a team. Work tasks include care of children and relatives as well as medical interventions and acute management. Patients arrive both walking and by ambulance, and some require immediate intervention in acute rooms. Your Qualifications We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse, pediatric nurse or nurse with other specialist education relevant to the operation. Experience with pediatric care and/or work at an acute clinic is an asset. We welcome both you who are new to the profession and you who have more experience and want to continue developing within acute pediatric care. Your Competence As a person, you have a great interest in pediatric care and find acute care exciting. You are flexible and adapt easily to new situations. You thrive in an operation where no two days are the same and are curious to learn new things, develop and take on various work tasks. We Offer Permanent full-time employment with start date by agreement and introduction through our new introduction program. After completing the introduction as a newly qualified nurse, you will begin KUÅ (clinical development year). If you have at least two years of experience, there is an opportunity to apply for paid specialist education in pediatric and youth nursing. You work either on 95 E, at the children's acute clinic or in a rotation position between the operations. We work according to Akademiska's point system with shifts during day, evening and night.
