About the Unit 6223. Rapid Response Platoon reports to 1622. Air Base Company at F 16 and is responsible for IBSS within Uppsala Garrison. The platoon operates both within and outside the facility and provides military police expertise to the air wing. Main Duties You will serve in a combat-ready security force at Uppsala Garrison. As a combat soldier, you will assist the response commander during operations and maintain security within Uppland Air Wing. The position as combat soldier includes: Assisting the security commander and/or response commander during operations. Patrolling. Transport security. Training activities at the home unit; training/exercises at other locations may occur. Access control. Vehicle inspections. Guard duty. The position includes daytime, round-the-clock, and weekend duty. As a combat soldier, you will participate in exercises within the Swedish Armed Forces.
