We currently have 18 care beds with relatively short care periods and adapted admission and discharge flows. The unit primarily serves older patients with complex needs who require inpatient care but do not require the hospital's specialist resources. We also offer some day care. Specific research tasks that can be expected include preprocessing of large datasets for analysis, reading and summarizing relevant scientific literature, writing and manipulating code in Python, managing computationally intensive computational processes, preparing and interpreting visualizations of code output, and quantifying uncertainty associated with predictions. The successful applicant is also expected to participate in UUniFI meetings for the funded project groups.
