Your Assignment As a registered nurse with us, you work together with the rest of the team to meet the patient's medical care needs. In addition to providing the best possible care to our patients, you will get to be involved in continuing to develop the unit. As a registered nurse with us, you get varied work and we operate with a flexible, team-based approach in collaboration. We work together to create a cohesive care process where everyone knows their role and where everyone can contribute to clarity and security for patients and their families. We work based on person-centered care where great emphasis is placed on the patient having a natural role in planning their own care. Your Competence We are looking for you who are a licensed registered nurse, whether you are newly graduated or have some years of experience, and who find it exciting to be part of continuing to develop the unit. It is a merit if you have previously worked night shifts. As a person, you are positive, committed, unpretentious, and empathetic with the ability to see patients' needs and have good collaborative skills with other professional competencies. You should be able to contribute to a good work environment and be open to new ways of working. We place great emphasis on personal qualities. Our Operations The Close Care Unit is part of Care Center Tierp-Älvkarleby and started 24/7 care on 1/16 2023. The unit is a 24/7 operation located in premises in the same building as Tierp's care center and emergency clinic, between Uppsala and Gävle, with good commuting options. We currently have 18 care beds with relatively short care periods and adapted admission and discharge flows. The unit primarily serves older patients with complex needs who require inpatient care but do not require the hospital's specialist resources. We also offer some day care. The operation is a good workplace to start working as a newly graduated registered nurse where you have colleagues for support. It is also an operation to develop in as an experienced registered nurse since we have a wide range of patients. Want to know more?
