We're now looking for a project manager in Uppsala who wants to be part of shaping and developing our campuses. As a project manager with us, you'll be responsible for driving projects through the entire process, from pre-study to implementation and handover. The focus is on tenant-specific modifications of varying scope and scale, often in technically advanced environments where requirements for functionality and precision are high. Projects range from teaching spaces to laboratories. You'll ensure that projects are implemented according to established procedures and frameworks, with the right quality, within budget and schedule. The role involves coordinating internal specialists and external suppliers, while maintaining close dialogue with our tenants to ensure solutions meet both their operational needs and our own goals. You'll be part of the project unit and work in close collaboration with colleagues in the property and operations organization. Together, you'll create a strong and cohesive customer delivery while contributing to knowledge sharing, development of working methods, and business development in the company. Areas of Responsibility Lead and drive projects through the entire process, from pre-study to final delivery Ensure quality, functionality, sustainability, and financial performance in project implementation Identify needs and develop solutions that are both cost-effective and long-term sustainable Plan, coordinate, and follow up on projects with a holistic perspective Collaborate with internal functions and external partners Manage multiple parallel projects, such as tenant modifications, maintenance, and energy projects Drive sustainability, work environment, digitalization, and innovation initiatives in projects Qualifications As a person, you're a confident and clear leader who creates engagement and participation in projects. You build strong relationships, work in a business-like manner, and thrive in a role where collaboration is essential for achieving results. You move work forward with structure and a holistic perspective, and have a strong ability to plan, prioritize, and make well-considered decisions throughout the project's different phases. You handle changes flexibly and create momentum even in complex project environments. Relevant academic engineering degree in construction, technology, or similar field, or equivalent work experience Experience in personally driving projects through the entire construction process Experience leading teams with different specialist competencies Knowledge of construction contract law Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written B-class driver's license Background check will be conducted on final candidates It is an advantage if you also have: Experience with laboratory environments and technical installations Negotiation experience and good business understanding BAS-P training About the Company Akademiska Hus Akademiska Hus is one of Sweden's largest real estate companies.
