Our goal is for all women and children to be able to live lives free from violence in an equal society. About the Position We are now seeking a Women's Coordinator for our organization. With us, you will be part of a small and dedicated workplace where flexibility, participation, and collaboration are important parts of daily work. The organization currently has two employees who together are responsible for daily operations. The board is the employer and has appointed a management committee that maintains ongoing contact with employees. In addition to employees, there are engaged volunteer hotline workers. The work is varied and primarily consists of supporting women who are or have been victims of violence. In addition, preventive work, educational initiatives, collaboration, and public advocacy are included. Job Responsibilities The work may include: Individual support conversations and group activities for women. Practical and advisory support before, during, or after leaving a violent relationship. About You We are looking for someone with adequate education in social work or other education that the employer deems equivalent. You have several years of experience in social work and good knowledge of male violence against women and children, the consequences of violence, and experience supporting abused women, both individually and in groups. You share our feminist values and have knowledge of male violence against women from a gender power perspective. Sometimes the task within the intensive family treatment team is to assist the social worker with investigation materials, and sometimes the task is to work intensively with treatment interventions to stabilize and help families when needs are extensive. The focus of interventions in this team is assignments with high concern where the intervention needs to start quickly, be intensive, and where we need to see positive change. Often the task includes sorting support and interventions, motivating toward appropriate support, and facilitating positive change over time. The main focus of the work is to help families find security and a well-functioning everyday life for children. We also work to assess the family's receptiveness to change, create conditions for the family to achieve rapid positive change, and build a stable environment for children and young people. Family treatment specialists in the intensive family treatment team often meet with families several times a week. Description Sahlgrenska University Hospital, Area 6, Neurology Services, Neurospeech Pathology. Neurospeech Pathology is Sahlgrenska University Hospital's unit for speech-language pathology care for adult patients with acquired neurological language, speech, and communication disorders, oral motor disorders, and monitoring of swallowing difficulties. The unit is located at Sahlgrenska, Mölndal, Östra, and Högsbo hospitals and is organizationally placed within the Neurology Services division. We are approximately 15 speech-language pathologists staffing various assignments across the hospitals. The unit has many experienced and competent employees and we maintain close contact with research, education, and development work within our areas. Our assignments often involve teamwork with many other professions. Two of our employees will be on parental leave, and we therefore need to strengthen the team with a speech-language pathologist positioned at Sahlgrenska University Hospital. Duties Standard speech-language pathology duties in inpatient care with patients in the acute phase after stroke. You will also serve as a co-supervisor for speech-language pathology students who are completing their clinical training with us. As a speech-language pathologist, you assess speech, language, and swallowing abilities and contribute to our patients' rehabilitation in accordance with the person-centered and integrated care pathway for stroke and TIA. You will not perform instrumental swallowing assessments; these are conducted by another unit. You collaborate with other healthcare providers, both within and outside the hospital, to provide our patients with the best possible care. We offer you an exciting and varied temporary position at a stroke unit, with other units/activities also being relevant. You will have close collaboration and support from several other speech-language pathology colleagues and the multidisciplinary team, which is the core of stroke unit care, and the opportunity to plan your own work is something we consider essential. You collaborate with other healthcare providers, both within and outside the hospital, to provide stroke patients with the best possible care. The work will include a stroke unit as well as a clinic within neurological diseases. About the Operations AnOpIVA SU/Mölndal comprises four surgical units with a total of 20 operating rooms. Our anesthesia patients range in age from 1 year to over 100 years old. Many of the children and young people who receive anesthesia have neuropsychiatric conditions, and among older patients, comorbidities are common. This provides a broad range of anesthesiological challenges in daily work. The intensive care unit has six beds and provides advanced intensive care. Operations are characterized by strong commitment to quality, patient safety, and continuous development. Adjacent to the ICU/Post-op unit is a well-developed pain management unit with active education and training activities. The clinic has an established research environment with a well-developed structure for collaboration between active employees in several professional categories.
