Regional Laboratory Medicine is part of Sahlgrenska University Hospital, Area 4, and has a clear coordination mission for the entire Västra Götaland Region. The organization consists of laboratory medicine operations at Södra Älvsborg Hospital, Sahlgrenska University Hospital, the Hospitals in the West, and NU Healthcare. About the Operation Neurochemistry is a leading operation where clinical routine diagnostics, drug testing, academic studies, and research are conducted in close collaboration. The laboratory is both environmentally certified and accredited, and we place great emphasis on quality, continuous operational development, and implementation of new analytical methods. Our operations are conducted in close cooperation with researchers and staff at the Department of Neuroscience and Physiology at the University of Gothenburg. Approximately 100 people work in Neurochemistry's facilities, creating a dynamic and knowledge-intensive work environment. Work Tasks We are seeking a laboratory employee with documented experience in working with quality assurance and high precision. In the role you will work with a broad spectrum of analyses for Alzheimer's disease and other neurodegenerative diseases. The analyses include both commercial and in-house developed methods used for diagnostics and follow-up. Work tasks include, among other things: sample handling and sample preparation performance of neurochemical analyses evaluation and quality assurance of results work with both manual and semi-automated analytical methods You will become an important part of the operation's continued development and contribute to ensuring high quality in our diagnostic work. Qualifications We are seeking someone who is a certified biomedical analyst with good biochemical knowledge and documented laboratory experience. You express yourself well in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing, and have good computer skills as well as experience with the Office suite. To succeed in the role, we see that you: have experience in laboratory work work carefully, systematically, and methodically have good collaboration skills are engaged in quality and development work take responsibility and contribute to the operation's common goals It is a merit if you have experience with clinical studies, immunochemical methods, and work with instruments such as Lumipulse, Simoa, Mesoscale, and Cobas.
