Sörgårdsskolan is a primary school in central Mölndal for students in grades 6-9. Approximately 420 students attend here. JOB DUTIES Sörgårdsskolan is a grades 6-9 school with space for approximately 420 students. The school currently has two special education teachers who, with support from a resource teacher, provide specialized support both individually and in groups. For the past couple of years, we have had a flex program at the school as a complement to special education, where students can come to receive various types of support in a smaller setting. Support is provided based on individual planning for each student and is scheduled for the student with support given both individually and in groups. We see that you work with special education of students in the classroom, in small groups, and individually, and that you contribute to developing teaching methods and materials. You participate in conducting educational assessments, proposing adaptations to the learning environment and teaching, and are responsible for special education with students. When needed, there is an opportunity to mentor colleagues through your special education expertise. You contribute your expertise to the school's student health team and provide support to the principal and teachers. QUALIFICATIONS Special Education Teacher Grades 6-9 You are trained as a special education teacher and are certified to work in grades 6-9. We expect you to be flexible, organized, and enjoy new challenges, and to have a positive approach. You also have good digital competence. We place great importance on personal suitability.
