Independent Carpenter / Wood Worker

Five experienced carpenters with professional credentials sought – Gothenburg and surrounding areas SDÅ-BYGG AB is seeking five experienced and independent carpenters for work in Gothenburg and the surrounding region. Start date as soon as possible. About SDÅ-BYGG AB SDÅ-BYGG AB is an established construction company focused on quality, professional pride, and long-term customer relationships. We work with renovations, reconstructions, and minor new builds, as well as performing facade and drywall contracting for several larger construction companies. Our framework agreements provide us with a stable and long-term project portfolio. The company has a collective agreement with Byggnads. About the Position This is an independent role where you are expected to plan and execute your work tasks without continuous supervision. You must be able to read blueprints, plan material requirements, coordinate your work with other trades, and be responsible for ensuring that work is completed correctly and with high quality. This position is intended for experienced professional carpenters and is not an apprenticeship or assistant role. Responsibilities Independently perform carpentry work Plan and take responsibility for assigned work tasks Work from blueprints and work descriptions Perform work in renovations, reconstructions, and new builds Execute facade work and drywall contracting Ensure that work meets the correct quality standards and complies with current industry regulations Coordinate work with project management and other trades When needed, communicate with clients and customers We Are Looking for Someone Who Holds a valid professional carpenter/wood worker credential Has several years of documented experience as a fully trained carpenter Can work independently from blueprint to finished result Has strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry regulations Is thorough, responsible, and solution-oriented Has strong professional pride and an eye for detail Speaks Swedish fluently in both speech and writing, as the work requires understanding of work instructions, safety regulations, and blueprint documentation Holds a B-class driver's license Is reliable and conducts yourself professionally with our customers and clients Knowledge of English and other languages is a plus, as we work in teams with multiple nationalities. Experience with facade work, drywall contracting, customer contact, or project management is also advantageous.
