Department of Surgery, Höglandssjukhuset in Eksjö The Chief Physician Role At the Department of Surgery in Eksjö, we offer comprehensive diagnostic and interventional endoscopic services where ERCP is a key component. We have expertise in stenting, APC, peroral cholangioscopy (Spyglass), and all regional diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic ultrasound procedures are performed in Eksjö. The Role of Unit Manager In your daily work as unit manager at child and youth health, you lead a work team consisting of occupational therapists, psychologists, social workers, physicians, nurses, special educators, and administrative healthcare staff, approximately 20 people in total. You are part of the management group for the child and youth unit where you work together with other managers, activity developers, and the medically responsible physician to develop the service strategically and create good results. You work closely with other actors and collaboration partners to provide the best possible care for those we are here to serve. You report directly to the operations manager and have responsibility for operations, personnel, finances, and work environment. In your work, you have support from, among others, an HR partner, recruitment specialist, and controller. You have an academic education suitable for the position and it is desirable that you have experience working with children and young people in healthcare, social services, or school. Care Unit Manager
Psychiatric Clinic, Jönköping, Forensic Psychiatry Would you like to be part of building a new forensic psychiatric care unit from the start? The Role of Care Unit Manager As a Care Unit Manager, you are responsible, together with other managers, for establishing and staffing a new forensic psychiatric care unit. The assignment includes operational management and responsibility for personnel, work environment, patient safety, security, and parts of the budget. You work close to operations with recruitment, onboarding, staffing planning, and development and monitoring of procedures. The role includes handling issues and situations related to, for example, compulsory care according to LPT and LRV, threats and violence, security incidents, staffing, and personnel matters. Your Future Workplace Forensic Psychiatry is part of the Psychiatric Clinic in Jönköping and currently consists of two inpatient units and an outpatient team. We have close collaboration with the Regional Clinic in Vadstena. The unit is staffed by nurses, care assistants, treatment assistants, risk assessors, care administrators, occupational therapists, social workers, psychologists, and doctors. Work is organized based on a primary contact model where all professions collaborate in care around each patient. Due to increased patient intake and the need for expanded capacity, a new forensic psychiatric care unit is now being established and will open. The new unit is planned to comprise approximately 5–10 beds and approximately 24 employees. Your Profile We are looking for you with relevant higher education within, for example, healthcare, social work, behavioral science, leadership, or another area that the employer deems relevant for the assignment. You have experience of leadership with responsibility for personnel and operations. You also have experience with systematic work environment management and understanding of patient safety and security work. It is advantageous to have experience from healthcare, psychiatry, or forensic psychiatry as well as from operations with high demands for safety and structured working methods. Experience with recruitment, staffing, employee onboarding, and work environment and personnel matters is also advantageous. We would like to see that you have experience with change management, operational development, or startup of new operations, as well as work in complex organizations with multiple internal and external collaboration partners. Knowledge of psychiatric and forensic psychiatric care and relevant legislation, especially LPT and LRV, is advantageous. The same applies to knowledge of operational planning, staffing, monitoring, and finances. As a leader, it is important that you are responsive and understand who we exist for and why.
