DUTIES You will work as an analyst and contribute to increasing knowledge on issues related to agricultural profitability, competitiveness, and sustainable development. Our assignments cover different areas of agriculture and agricultural policy where there is a need for knowledge about conditions for agricultural development. You will work with analyzing and assessing the consequences of policy directions, measures, and policy instruments, or external events that may affect agricultural enterprises and food production. You will also contribute to work on how various policy instruments within the Common Agricultural Policy can be developed and implemented. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with a relevant university degree, such as an economist with a focus on agronomy, environment, or political science. The position requires experience with analytical work and an understanding of the conditions for conducting agriculture in Sweden and agricultural issues related to sustainability goals and production. You also need experience using various economic analysis methods and strong knowledge in microeconomics and econometric methods or statistics. Experience working as a project manager and with EU programs within the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) is a merit. Strong knowledge of Swedish and English, spoken and written, is required. We place great emphasis on personal qualities. To succeed in the role as an analyst, you need strong analytical abilities and skill in gathering and processing information from various sources in order to draw conclusions and argue for them. You are creative, have good collaboration skills, and can both drive your own work and that of others forward. You also have the ability to communicate knowledge clearly, both orally and in writing.
