The Leisure Activities Assistant Role Together with other leisure activities assistants, you will be responsible for planning evening activities, providing residential support to students, and serving evening snacks in the recreation center. You will also collaborate with the school nurse, counselor, kitchen staff, and facilities manager. Working hours vary between 3:00 PM and 1:00 AM. We offer a permanent employment contract at 80% with start date as soon as possible or by agreement. Your Future Workplace At Tenhultsgymnasiet, we educate for the future within the green industries. We have just over 250 students, most of whom come primarily from Jönköping County. Students who live far from school have the opportunity to stay at the school's residential facilities during the week. The school's residential facilities are located above the school and consist of eleven houses with capacity for 77 students. Adjacent to the residential area is a common recreation space where we typically host various activities and evening gatherings. The school has four specializations: Agriculture, Equestrian, Animal Care, and Horticulture. We offer both the three-year agricultural program and the four-year Forest, Land and Animals program within adapted secondary education, as well as adult education in horticulture. Your Profile To be eligible for this position, you should have leisure activities leader training or equivalent work experience. You should also have a B driver's license as travel is part of the job. We are looking for someone with a present and attentive approach to students' different needs, a clear leader who collaborates well with others. You are independent, responsible, and take initiative easily. We develop our work through pedagogical discussions and collaborative learning, and we see it as a strength to help each other and dare to be curious about new ways of working.
