Job Responsibilities As Administrative Director, you are part of the department's management group where you have both a strategic and operational leadership function. Your primary task is to support the Head of Department and department directors in their management roles, which includes preparing and following up matters for the departmental board and other management forums, financial analysis and strategic planning, and contributing administrative and organizational perspectives to management work. The role also includes personnel responsibility for the department's administrators working in finance, HR, research and study administration. You have operational and financial responsibility for the unit, which means you are responsible for ensuring that operations are conducted with high quality, are legally compliant, efficient, and long-term sustainable, and meet the organization's needs both in the short and long term. It is important that you have an interest and willingness to familiarize yourself with all aspects of the department's operations, including research and education, in order to best support your employees and provide effective support to core operations. At least five years of current experience in qualified and strategic financial-administrative work. At least one year of current experience in management or supervisory positions with personnel responsibility. Very strong ability to express yourself well in both spoken and written Swedish and English, for example reading and interpreting government texts in Swedish and translating them into English. Very strong digital competence and current experience working in administrative systems and the Office package.
