This is a permanent full-time position in an established team working with children and young people experiencing mental health challenges at the primary care level. ABOUT THE ROLE As a coordinator in UPH, your primary responsibility is psychosocial support and family work. You work with parents and families as an integrated part of the child's treatment – not as a parallel process, but as a prerequisite for interventions to be effective. In our base treatment model, assessment always precedes intervention. Your interventions are directly linked to what the assessment shows – ABC programs, parent support, and shared problem-solving are decided in team meetings based on identified needs, not as standard measures. You work directly with families without referral, receive children and young people aged 6–17, and work both individually and in groups. Work takes place at the clinic, digitally when needed, and sometimes in the patient's immediate environment – for example, at school. Treatment is based on the LEON principle and structured assessment of sleep, nutrition, activity, relationships, and school. We work in parallel based on assessment – not sequentially. As a coordinator, you have a clear mandate in the family and parent component of treatment, not a support function on the periphery.
