Several teachers work across both units, including in music, languages, home and consumer studies, physical education and health, and crafts. As a substitute, you can work within one of our operations: Gullstens School F-6 Elementary School After-School Program Gullstens School 7-9 Elementary School Adapted Elementary School You can choose whether you want to work within a specific operation or be available for assignments in multiple parts of the rector's office. In the role of substitute, you replace regular staff during absences and contribute to a safe, educational, and positive environment for our children and students. Work tasks vary and may include: • Supporting students in instruction • Leading or participating in after-school program activities • Being a recess supervisor and creating a safe school environment • Functioning as a support resource in the classroom • Taking responsibility for instruction according to plans from regular staff • With us, you'll have the opportunity to develop, build valuable experience, and be an important part of students' daily lives. QUALIFICATIONS We're seeking you if you enjoy working with children and young people and want to contribute to a safe, positive, and developmental school environment. To thrive in this role, you need to have: • Good ability to communicate in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. • Good experience using digital tools and technical equipment in your work. • A professional, positive, and service-oriented demeanor. It's a merit if you also have good knowledge of English, particularly for assignments within the secondary school level. In this role, you'll meet students between 6 and 16 years old with different experiences, conditions, and needs. Therefore, it's important that you are a trustworthy adult who can build good relationships, adapt to different situations, and treat students with respect and engagement. We particularly value that you: • Are flexible and can adapt to different work tasks and operations. • Are responsible and have good cooperation skills. • Are secure in yourself and can create calm and structure in different situations. • Have a genuine interest in children and young people's development and learning. Previous experience working within schools, after-school programs, or other activities for children and young people is a merit, but we also welcome you if you want to gain valuable experience in the field. As a substitute teacher within school operations, you can expect a salary between 24,000-32,000kr depending on experience and competence. Individual salary setting applies. Salary form: Hourly wage.
