Job Description Do you want to be part of creating vital change for vulnerable people? Then working as a treatment educator at SiS is a meaningful challenge. As a treatment educator, you work in a team with treatment assistants and treatment coordinators, and together you are responsible for ensuring that our clients receive the safety, care, and treatment they need. We often meet people in crisis, which means you work with qualified care and motivation work and provide support in daily life. With your knowledge in care and treatment work, you actively contribute to ensuring that treatment plans are carried out. Documentation is an important part of your work and contributes to legal certainty, planning, and monitoring of our operations. You help maintain security according to our procedures and contribute to daily activities running smoothly, including schooling, cleaning, meal preparation, and more. Mentorship is also one of your responsibilities. The work may also include supervising new employees and interns. As a person, you are confident in yourself and find it easy to build relationships with young people as well as with other staff members. You have good communication skills and can remain calm even in stressful situations. You work well with others and can handle conflicts constructively. You should also have: A degree from a 2-year post-secondary education at a folk high school or vocational school (KY/YH) with a focus on social/educational treatment work or education from a university that we consider equivalent. B driver's license. Good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written. It is advantageous if you have: Experience working in psychiatry or LSS (disability services). Experience in client-facing positions in the Swedish Prison and Probation Service, for example as a corrections officer.
